Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026. This policy is written to align with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and, where we serve people in the European Economic Area, the GDPR.

Who we are

Assuresec Limited ("Assuresec", "we") is the controller of the personal data described here. Our address is Block 26, Flat 2, Lowcost Housing Estate, Ogba, Lagos, Nigeria.

What we collect and why

• Enquiries, consultations and quotes: name, work email, phone, company, job title and your message, so we can respond. Lawful basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
• Training registrations: attendee details so we can manage sessions, certificates and invoicing. Lawful basis: contract and consent.
• Resource downloads and newsletter: name, email and company so we can deliver the resource or send insights. Lawful basis: consent. Newsletter sign-up uses double opt-in.
• Job applications: contact details, CV and cover note, to assess your application. Lawful basis: consent and steps before a contract.
• Security reports: any details you choose to share so we can investigate. Reporting anonymously is allowed.
• Site usage: anonymous analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

Leads are kept for 24 months, rejected job applicants for 12 months, and newsletter subscribers until they unsubscribe. We then delete or anonymise the data.

Who we share it with

We use carefully chosen service providers for email delivery, hosting and analytics, under written data processing agreements. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where they do, we use safeguards required by the NDPA and, where relevant, the GDPR.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to processing, withdraw consent or ask for a copy in a portable format. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within the time the law allows. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, two-factor authentication for staff, malware scanning of uploads and regular security testing.
